Boston Welcomes the Return of
Big Apple Circus and Duck Tours
Monday, March 24th at 11 AM
Departing from Museum of Science, Boston
WHAT: Each year, spring heralds the return to Boston of perennial delights the Big Apple Circus and the Boston Duck Tours. Circus and Duck fans will have a chance to celebrate both at once, as Grandma the Clown, iconic star of the Big Apple Circus, pilots a Duck on the launch day for 2008, through Boston's historic streets and waterways. At 11 AM sharp Grandma will pick up passengers at the Museum of Science and pose for photos, then it's all aboard the Duck for a scenic 20 minute tour on land and water, with Grandma at the helm. Performances of Celebrate!, the all-new 30th edition of Big Apple Circus begin Saturday, March 4th and run through Sunday, May 6th under the Big Top at City Hall Plaza. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster at (617) 931-2787, ticketmaster.com, at all Ticketmaster outlets, and may also be purchased in person at BOSTIX (two locations, Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Copley Square) and at the Circus Box Office in front of the Big Top. Boston Duck Tours depart from the Museum of Science through November 26. Discounts to the Museum are available when tickets are purchased at the Boston Duck tour booth onsite.
