Count Kilroy’s full name is Daniel Ulysses “Count”
Kilroy or D.U.C.K. He worked at the Fore River Shipyard
in Quincy Massachusetts counting rivets his whole life.
He is the brother of James Kilroy who originated the “KILROY
was here” icons from W.W.II, which can also be found
on our DUCKs. He was the youngest recipient of the “Bronze
Rivet” award given when a rivet counter has counted
1 million rivets. Now he’s found himself aboard
a Duck after getting as far as he could get in rivet counting. |
